Leader Creative was asked to evaluate the effectiveness of the name “Center for Global Leadership,” an experiential learning organization for training, mentoring and funding young social entrepreneurs around the world. Leader determined that besides being very long, the name was generic, academic sounding and probably an overpromise. In assessing the organization’s competitive arena, it was determined that many schools and seminars focused on outdoor experiential learning while others offered exclusively classroom introductions to social entrepreneurship. Leader Creative recommended that the organization better leverage its unique combination of outdoor education with its strong service component; a philosophy embodied in the Leader Creative-developed name and identity: The Higher Road.
